List It Right is a high-value consignment marketplace designed to help individuals sell premium items—such as collectibles, electronics, auto parts, and equipment—without the friction and risk typically associated with peer-to-peer platforms. Their model prioritizes trust, valuation accuracy, and ease of use, positioning List It Right as a smarter alternative to traditional online marketplaces.

As a new brand entering a crowded resale economy, List It Right needed more than a website—they needed a clear positioning strategy, operational clarity, and a digital experience that filtered out low-value listings while attracting serious sellers.

The Problem

List It Right faced three core challenges at launch:

  1. Marketplace Noise – Open marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace attract massive volume but low signal, making it difficult to filter serious sellers from time-wasters.

  2. Category Misalignment – Not all resale categories fit List It Right’s consignment model. Accepting the wrong items would create operational drag and dilute the brand.

  3. Trust & Clarity – Sellers needed immediate confidence that List It Right was legitimate, selective, and worth engaging with—before submitting high-value items.

Without a clear screening mechanism and structured digital journey, the platform risked being overwhelmed with unqualified submissions and unclear expectations.

We designed a structured intake experience that mirrors familiar marketplace behavior while quietly enforcing List It Right’s business rules. By aligning submission forms with recognizable Facebook Marketplace categories—but limiting them to pre-approved, high-value segments—we ensured sellers felt at home while the business stayed protected.
