Brand Transformation for Alabama’s Only PurMotion-Certified Gym

When former University of Alabama football standout Simeon Castille set out to elevate his Birmingham-based fitness facility, he partnered with The Gridwell Group to lead a complete rebranding effort. Originally operating under the name Stille Academy, the gym had strong local roots but lacked a clear brand identity that matched its evolving mission. We guided the transformation to Castille Academy, a name that not only honors Simeon’s legacy but also reflects the personal investment and vision behind the gym’s growth.

As the only PurMotion-certified gym in the state, Castille Academy needed a brand that stood apart from traditional fitness centers. We designed a bold new logo and delivered a comprehensive branding guide to ensure consistency across all platforms. The visual identity was crafted to communicate strength, movement, and purpose—key elements of the PurMotion methodology and the academy’s holistic approach to fitness for athletes of all ages.

To bring the new brand to life, we designed and developed a dynamic website that clearly communicates the academy’s unique offerings, including its Speed Lab, family-focused programs, and elite-level coaching staff. We also created a clean, intuitive app design to help members stay engaged, book sessions, and track progress. The result is a cohesive, purpose-driven brand experience that aligns with Castille Academy’s mission to build stronger athletes—and stronger people—for life.
