Manufacturing ROI helps manufacturers achieve CMMC compliance so they can qualify for Department of Defense contracts. With an October expo on the calendar, they needed a brand that could stand up in front of buyers on day one.
The Challenge
Manufacturing ROI’s audience is small-to-mid-sized manufacturers seeking CMMC compliance—owners, executives, and IT managers—with larger firms and DoD evaluators close behind. The brand had to communicate professionalism, authority, and measurable ROI to all of them, and it had to be expo-ready on a fixed deadline.
The voice needed to be authoritative, strategic, and secure: confident and consultative, urgent without being overwhelming.
The Solution
We ran the work as a tight sequence—discovery session, concepts, feedback and refinement, then a final brand guide—timed to land before the expo.
The final mark combines three ideas: a star for defense and service, data dots for technology and security, and an abstract jet for forward motion. Set in Barlow Condensed with Metropolis as a secondary face, and built on Deep Crimson and Royal Deep Blue, the identity reads as both patriotic and technical.
A full brand guide covers logo versions, color, typography, social media, mockups, and stationery, so every application stays consistent. We then carried the identity onto the expo floor with a tradeshow booth designed to stop traffic and start conversations with a clear message: CMMC is here. Are you prepared?
